Panellist - Tanya Mitchell
NSW President, Isolated Children's Parents Association of NSW (ICPA-NSW)
Tanya is a passionate advocate for equitable access to education for rural and remote students from early childhood to tertiary education. This is achieved through her roles as Project Director for Bourke and District Early Childhood Services and as President of NSW ICPA, which was founded in Bourke over 50 years ago. ICPA now has local branches all around Australia, governed by volunteer State and Federal Councils.
Tanya firmly believes that with access to early childhood health and education services, we can change the trajectory and social outcomes of children’s lives who become contributors to their community.
